We started with a brand-new L.L.Bean Boat and Tote in navy and gave the front over to a single tarot card, stitched full-size.

The Empress sits center in her starred crown and pomegranate robe, rendered in the classic Rider-Waite line work with her wheat field and waterfall behind her. Around the card we set her omens — a blue and gold serpent coiling up the left side, a pink Buddha in a green lotus, a red and white toadstool, an ace of spades, and a maneki-neko with its paw raised. Navy trim, white canvas, and just enough red and gold to keep the whole thing humming.

One of One means exactly that: the only piece we made like this. Once it's gone, it won't be made again.
