The Caviar Shack
Nantucket, but the version where the beach shack serves caviar. That's the joke, and it's stitched right on the front.
We started with a brand-new L.L.Bean Boat and Tote in navy trim, then treated the center panel like a window you'd want to sit in front of.
The centerpiece is an arched scene: a wooden Adirondack chair on the sand facing a low sun over the water, gulls overhead, rendered in layered blues, sand, and warm cedar tones. Above it hangs "The Caviar Shack — Nantucket, MA" on a navy sign with a sturgeon and an anchor. A cobalt and turquoise octopus tentacle curls down the left side over a yellow "Yacht Club" oval, and on the right, a blue felt Nantucket pennant with a white sperm whale and a row of signal flags, plus a pair of brown boat shoes below it.
One of One means exactly that: the only piece we made like this. Once it's gone, it won't be made again.
