This one started with the horns — that wide, unbothered sweep that says everything before the animal ever lifts his head. Rendered entirely in thread, the steer is built from thousands of stitches laid in the direction the hair actually grows: brindled copper across the crown, a smoke-grey muzzle, that deep indigo shadow pooling under the brow. Up close you can read every pass of the needle. From across the room, he just looks alive.
The patch is set full-frontal on natural canvas, horns running wide enough to break past the webbing on both sides — deliberately. Nothing about this design was asked to sit politely inside its lines.
Finished with a hand-stitched feather charm cluster in gold, oxblood, and indigo, hung from a solid brass swivel clip, securely attached to our signature grommet. The charms comes off if you want them elsewhere. Most people leave it.
