One of One — CB Station Tote
Some totes have a print on them. This one has an entire moment.
This piece starts from a medium all-black CB Station canvas tote — clean, blank, and a little too well-behaved for what we had in mind.
Front and center is a skull grown over entirely in flowers, needle-painted in magenta, coral, sage, and gold so the petals do the shading and the bone barely gets a word in. Fourteen patches crowd in around it: a Rebel Soul speech bubble overhead, a pink butterfly and a monarch that lifts right off the canvas, a leopard heart, a flaming sacred heart, a snake, a diamond, a spade, a mint julep, and a Sorry, I'm Allergic to Bullshit hexagon down the left side in case anyone's still unclear.
It's soft and it's mean. Flowers and teeth. That's the whole idea.
One of One means exactly that: the only piece we made like this. Once it's gone, it won't be made again.
