Red hat, no apologies.
The star of this bag is a cowboy hat in deep cherry red, stitched oversized across the front and draped over the handle like it was tossed there on the way out the door. The crown is worked in dense, velvety thread with shading pulled through every dent and curve. A blush satin band circles the base, holding a gold and umber feather and two playing cards tucked in for luck: one reading Rowdy with a gold star, the other marked with a horseshoe. Across the brim, in gold script: Ain't My First Rodeo.
Running down the right side, a tan felt pennant with hand-stitched edges carries a bucking bronc and rider above Wild & Free in barn red, finished with a small gold star and a blue-dipped tip.
Down in the corner, the little things that ride along:
