Lucky Bam New · L.L. Bean Medium Tote · One of One
Pull up a chair. Shuffle up.
A full marquee sign, stitched big and bold across the front panel and set right between the handles like it’s hanging over the door. The starburst is worked in deep cherry red chenille, ringed with cream bulb lights that run all the way around the edge. Across the center, Let’s Mahj in teal script, and up top, a red dragon tile standing in for the star on the sign. Below it, a teal arrow points the way in: Open Tonight. And underneath, the only sign that matters: No Vacancy. Every seat at the table is spoken for.
Off to the side, a navy rocker reads Jokers Wild Auxiliary. Some people play by the card. Some people hold onto their jokers.
Around it, the stuff that collects on a game-night bag:
A seal from the Tuesday Night Mahj Society, Pine Hollow, est. 1957, with a dot tile at the center, for the standing game nobody misses
A little sparrow in red, green, and gold over Lucky Bam, because every table has a favorite tile
