Darling, I'm the Mood
Not every western piece needs a sunset behind it. Sometimes it just needs a good horse and a better attitude.
We started with a brand-new L.L.Bean Boat and Tote in yellow trim — a color that has no business working this well with a saddle-brown bay, and works anyway.
A running bay horse takes the center panel, stitched in shaded browns, greys, and black with a full mane in motion, and a scarlet "Darling, I'm the Mood" banner tucked in below him. The right side is a working cowgirl's inventory — a glitter cowboy hat with a turquoise band, a revolver, a red bandana, a pair of navy and white stitched boots, and a longhorn skull. Down the left, a "Not My First Rodeo" pennant in sky blue and a silver horseshoe.
The charm stack is the piece that makes it: a gold-edged cowboy boot pieced from a genuine vintage scarf in green, cream, and gold, hung on a brass clip over a long fringe tassel cut from a second scarf. Both are one-of-a-kind by nature — that fabric doesn't exist twice.
One of One means exactly that: the only piece we made like this. Once it's gone, it won't be made again.
