A half-sun sits low on the horizon in marigold and deep gold, with a flare of orange breaking underneath it where the last heat of the day burns off. Above, the sky is worked in a directional fill that climbs from deep teal to pale aqua — the stitch angle catches light differently as you turn it, so the sky actually shifts the way a real one does.
