A winged roller skate, chain-stitched big across the lower front panel and rolling right over the handle like it’s late for the rink. The skate is worked in thick marigold yarn, outlined in hot pink, with feathered wings swept back off the heel, laces up the front, and pink wheels mid-spin. It’s the skate that’s been doing laps since the disco ball went up and isn’t slowing down for anybody.
Hanging off the handle, a red door hanger from Hotel Papillon, Room 410, with a little carton of fries up top and the only instructions that matter: Please Disturb. Bring fries. And champagne. Some people want room service. Some people want the whole menu.
